This course digs deeper into quality BIPs, which include data-based fading, generalization, and reintegration plans. Participants will learn why and how to strategically fade behavior interventions to promote student success, how to promote generalization of skills identified through the FBA process, and data-based decision making to guide incremental steps as supports are faded and skills are generalized. In addition, participants will learn how to develop reintegration plans in order to ensure students with BIPs are provided with FAPE. Participants will practice documenting fading, generalization, and reintegration plans as a component of high quality BIPs.
Prerequisite: Participants must have previously attended the full 3-day course entitled "Deeper Learning on the FBA Process and How It Leads to Intervention Planning" prior to enrolling in this course.
