GW - Educator Well-Being
Sixth Street Facility GWAEA Nov 10, 2026

This course will focus on evidence-based considerations and strategies for systemic and individual wellbeing. These strategies are often at no cost to districts. They are based on multiple data sources, indicating that educator well-being leads to better student outcomes, and that educators who feel supported by their systems also achieve better student outcomes.

This comprehensive course is designed for educators and administrators looking to enhance the effectiveness of SEBH (Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Health) teams at both building and district levels. Participants will gain valuable insights into the crucial role that effective teams play in fostering a supportive educational environment focused on educator well-being.

Throughout the course, you will explore both systemic and individual approaches to promoting educator well-being within the context of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. You’ll learn how to leverage data, systems, and practices to inform school-wide action planning aimed at enhancing the wellness of teaching staff.

Key topics include effective strategies for SEBH team functionality, practical applications of the MTSS framework to support adult wellness, and a clear definition of what constitutes adult well-being in the educational setting. With a focus on collaboration and data-driven decision-making, this course will empower participants to implement meaningful practices that contribute to a healthier, more sustainable work environment for educators.
