Participants will learn about evidence-based classroom strategies that focus on prevention and response to behaviors. Participants will be given examples and provided practice in implementing the strategies. These practices will be linked to school-wide systems and data for implementation and outcomes. 

The professional development will provide a detailed look at the research and evidence-based practices that are highly effective at all tiers. A Pre-learning survey will be completed by participants at the beginning of each learning session to measure their current level of knowledge and skills. Information from the survey will be used to differentiate the course content to meet the needs of participants. An exit survey will be completed by participants to measure the level of knowledge and skills at the end of the learning session and to plan for differentiated follow-up and the on-site coaching sessions. Throughout the professional development sessions, participants learn and practice the skills necessary to install and coach the implementation of the evidence-based practices at each Tier of the MTSS system framework in systematic, efficient and effective ways. During professional development sessions, participants and school leadership teams will learn to analyze their district, building and student data and how to prioritize areas of focus that are matched to the building''s individual context and needs.
