GW- PBIS: Tier 3 in Review
Sixth Street Facility GWAEA Nov 19, 2026

Participants will review Tier 3 team process and procedures.  Participants will learn how to conduct a functional behavior assessment that will inform decisions regarding behavior intervention planning.  There is an emphasis on using assessment techniques from the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).  Upon completion of this class, participants will have increased their level of knowledge and understanding in creating function-based intervention plans to help support student behaviors in the school setting.  This training is ideally designed for school staff who are working on Tier 2/3 teams in the general education setting.  Participants will be asked to reflect on their current practices and compare what is in place to best practice in creating action plans for implementing Tier 3 with fidelity.
