This course is open to GWAEA staff only.

Enhance behavior assessment & intervention skills in this 1-day course. Instructors will provide a refresher on information related to the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process and how the process informs Behavior Intervention Planning (BIP) for students displaying challenging behavior. Participants will have an opportunity to review and refresh their understanding of the principles of behavior, behavioral assessment methods, and evidence-based behavioral strategies. Staff interested in attending must have previously attended the full 3-day course entitled Deeper Learning on the FBA Process and How It Leads to Intervention Planning prior to enrolling in this course.
