Cognitive Coaching (Level 2) is a 4-day experience during which participants will build on Level 1 by refining their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the Problem-Resolving Map.
Throughout the course, participants will:
- Develop trust and rapport with their peers and clients.
- Cultivate an identity as a mediator of thinking.
- Master conversation structures for planning, reflecting, and problem resolving.
- Foster teachers’ autonomy and a sense of community.
- Enhance efficacy, consciousness, craftsmanship, flexibility, and interdependence.
- Apply the four support functions: coaching, evaluating, consulting, and collaborating.
- Utilize essential coaching tools such as pausing, paraphrasing, and posing questions.
- Distinguish among the five forms of feedback.
- Use data effectively to mediate and enhance thinking.
