GW - Introduction to Sheltered Instruction for Teachers of ELLs
Winter 2025 - 6th St - SIOP




This course will provide participants with a research-based framework to guide differentiated lesson planning, delivery, and assessment that meet the needs of ELLs and other diverse learners. Participants will create and carryout a lesson which meets the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students.  Teaching strategies and demonstrations specifically designed to facilitate simultaneous learning of language and content will be presented by veteran educators.  The final session will occur after lesson implementation.
